Vitamin E

Like vitamin A, vitamin E is also a fat soluble micronutrient, composed of a group of compounds called tocopherols and tocotrienols. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, and thus protects the body from free radicals and oxidative stress. Vitamin E is highly important for tissues that have high concentrations of fat, preventing lipid peroxidation in return supporting cell membranes and neurons.
Best natural sources include; almonds, spinach, sweet potatoes, avocados, sunflower seeds, butternut squash, fish and whole grains.
